SBI customers alert! State Bank of India lists most common phishing scams - How to protect yourself
SBI has alerted its customers by sending a message. In which it is said that SBI YONO SMS phishing scam is going on. SBI users are getting a message to update PAN number with a link which appears as SBI webpage, but it is a scam.
In this scam, a message is being given especially to SBI customers, in which it is being told that if they do not update their PAN number on this link, then their YONO account will be banned. YONO is SBI's digital banking platform. If users enter their credentials then it goes directly to the hackers. Then the business of stealing money starts.
SBI has shown this message coming to SBI customers. The bank told that its IT security team will take action on this. The Bank has advised the customers not to respond to any kind of emails, SMS, calls, embedded links. If you get this type of call or message, then register a complaint.
